PHILADELPHIA -- Just before he assumed his new office as Chief Technology Officer of the United States, Todd Park, then-CTO of the Health & Human Services Department, visited the University of Pennsylvania and the video studio of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics to discuss the crucial role of data in health care innovation. He lamented the fact that there are still many in the health care field who don't understand the power and necessity of using good data as a management and innovation tool.
