Five Students From Penn's SUMR Program
PHILADELPHIA -- Each summer for the last 13, the University of Pennsylvania's Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics has selected up to 20 students for a a three-month immersion course in the principles and methodologies of health services research. This Summer Undergraduate Minority Research (SUMR) Program is open to underrepresented minority students and others interested in pursuing academic research related to health care disparities, access, cost and qualtiy throughout the U.S. health care system.
