About The LDI Health Economist
The LDI Health Economist is an online magazine about health policy. We are a nonpartisan, nonprofit enterprise devoted to communicating scholarship to advance health and health care. Our mission is to inform the public.
The LDI Health Economist is published by the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. It accepts no advertising. It does not seek and has never accepted any funds from corporations, unions, partisan organizations, or advocacy groups.
We accept donations from individual members of the public, and grants from government and foundation sources, so long as they are unrestricted and do not compromise the reality or appearance of our editorial independence. We disclose the identity of any donor giving $1,000 or more in a single year. We also disclose the total amount, average amount, and number of individual donations of under $1,000.
