Huntsman Hall on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania was the site of the 2012 Wharton Alumni Health Care Conference. Organized by the Wharton Health Care Management Alumni Association (WHCMAA), the annual event drew speakers from as far away as Geneva, Switzerland, and covered a range of subjects from the ramifications of the Supreme Court Decision on the ACA and restructuring the care delivery system, to personalized medicine and the reorganization of the health insurance business. At a time of increased national interest in health care management, the WHCMAA, which has traditionally been open only to graduates of Penn's Health Care Management program, has announced it will now welcome affiliate members from Penn's Perelman School of Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Dental Medicine.
